Taprobane

We had the most amazing dining experience at Taprobane Restaurant. From the moment we sat down, everything exceeded our expectations. Sri Lankan food done right… yummm! Every dish was full of incredible flavour and authenticity. The entrées were absolutely amazing — the fish, chicken, and vegetarian rolls were packed with flavour and cooked to perfection. You could really taste the freshness and care in every bite. For mains, we shared a variety of dishes between our group, and every single one was delicious. There honestly wasn’t a single dish we could fault — each plate brought something special to the table. A standout for me was the pancakes with egg — such a unique combination and incredibly tasty! The food, the flavours, and the overall experience were just outstanding. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable meal.

Sri Lankan Dishes, but not authentic, flavors are dull, Ordered a Nasi goorang and a chopsy rice, and faluda drinks. The food was ok, not spicy at all (plain) even after asked to make it spicy when ordering, Portion size was ok, claiming Authentic Sri Lankan of bit far fetched, Faluda drinks was awful and honestly kind of a rip-off, The vibe is 10/10 , service 9/10 Can recommend for the palace and vibe, Taste not so much for an authentic Sri Lankan flavors

Highly recommend for a truly Sri Lankan dining experience. Food is available in various spice levels so anyone can enjoy.
