I’m really disappointed. I booked an appointment for 10:00 AM after being assured someone would be there. I stood outside in the cold, called multiple times, and no one answered. This is incredibly unprofessional and leaves a very poor impression. If you’re unable to honour appointments, please don’t offer them in the first place. A simple call or message would have been the courteous thing to do.

I used to get my beauty services done by Tharushi, and she was always amazing. Today, I had my eyebrows done by a new staff member, Ann, and she did a fantastic job. She was very skilled, gentle, and soft spoken, making the whole experience really comfortable. Keep up the great work, Ann! Wishing you all the best.

I had such a wonderful experience with Isha for my hair and makeup. From the moment I arrived, she was warm, patient, and incredibly professional. She paid attention to every little detail and created a flawless look that lasted perfectly throughout the entire event. I had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience at this salon. I was told one price at the beginning, but the pricing was constantly changed throughout my appointment and increased again at the end without being properly communicated beforehand. At the end of the service, I was told I had “too much hair” as justification for the extra charges, which should have been discussed clearly before starting, not brought up after everything was already done. During my appointment, my stylist repeatedly left me mid-service to work on other clients and would come back later to continue my hair. This made the entire experience feel rushed, disorganised, and highly unprofessional. To make matters worse, I was not given my correct change back. When I asked for it, instead of returning it professionally, I was told about how hard she works and why she needed to keep the extra money. This was completely inappropriate and not an acceptable way to handle payment or customer concerns. Overall, the service, communication, and professionalism were very poor. Save your time and money. *Updating my review in response to management: The initial quotation provided over the phone was $195. When I arrived, a further consultation was done and I was advised the total cost would be $245, which I agreed to before the service began. Prior to starting the service, no professional consultation was conducted regarding allergies, scalp sensitivity, or whether I was taking any medication that could affect the treatment, which is normally expected in a professional salon setting. On the salon website, the listed price for full head foils is $180 and a haircut is $40, totalling $220, which differs from the amount I was quoted in-person and over the phone. This inconsistency in advertised, quoted, and charged pricing is concerning.(REFER TO PHOTO OF THE WEBSITE PRICE LIST HIGHLIGHTED ATTACHED ) During the appointment, I was encouraged to add additional services and products which I declined. Throughout the service, the stylist would begin working on my hair, then leave to attend other clients and return intermittently. At the end of the service, I paid $250 in cash and requested my $5 change, which was refused. No receipt was provided for the payment. My concern is not refusal to pay, but the lack of clear and consistent pricing, inconsistency between advertised and quoted prices, refusal to provide correct change, lack of receipt, and repeated pressure to add additional services during the appointment. I am disappointed that management chose to publicly label me “dishonest” and “shameless” rather than address these concerns professionally. I am also concerned by the management’s public response, which included personal comments about my religion and pregnancy, as well as the statement that I “should not come to Australian hairdressers,” which I found inappropriate and unprofessional. I have kept records of the appointment and will be raising this matter with Consumer Affairs Victoria for review.
