Ceylon Shipping Lines Australia

I have been using Ceylon Shipping Lines – Dandenong for quite some time now. Over the years, their box prices have increased significantly, but unfortunately the service has not improved to match the higher costs. Recently, when I went to pick up boxes, there were two Sri Lankan men working there who made me feel very uncomfortable. The way they looked at me felt rude and unwelcoming. They were speaking quietly to each other in their own language while laughing, which made it seem like they were talking about the customer. It was a very unpleasant experience and extremely poor customer service. When I later returned to drop off my items, I had to deal with the same two staff members again, and the experience was no better. Their attitude was unfriendly and unprofessional. They are also the only shipping company I know that charges extra if the boxes are overweight. On top of that, customers are required to fill out a very long and unnecessary form listing every item in the box along with prices, which is time-consuming and frustrating. Other shipping companies in Melbourne do not have such complicated requirements or excessive charges. Overall, the service is disappointing, overpriced, and unwelcoming. I don’t think I will ever use this company again, especially when there are other shipping companies in Melbourne that offer better service and fairer pricing.

Very good service

We have been sending parcels to Sri Lanka regularly through few different companies using the door to door service. We had some pleasant and not so pleasant experiences. In fact some are disgusting. We started using the services of Ceylon Shipping Lines since March this year and have sent 5 boxes so far. They are amazing.All received their boxes on time,intact without a single item missing. Their delivery system was methodical and the staff were well mannered. I go to their warehouse in Epping and very impressed about treating me very kind and professional way.Well done I wish them all the success.

I always use Ceylon Shipping Lines to send stuff to Sri Lanka. This time I sent 5 boxes to 2 people. Boxes reached on time. All goods received safely. Christo and team are so friendly and helpful.
