in the last weekAbsolutely amazing food! I ordered the deviled chicken fried rice, and it exceeded my expectations. The chicken was tender, juicy, and packed with delicious flavour, while the fried rice was perfectly seasoned with just the right amount of spice. Everything was served fresh, hot, and in a generous portion. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and provided excellent service. One of the best Sri Lankan meals I’ve had, and I’ll definitely be back to try more from the menu. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for Sri Lankan tummy food 🥘

in the last weekService was extremely poor, took over 1 hour to get first persons meal 1.5 hrs before more meals started coming out ranging from steamed dumplings (10 mins in streamer) very dried chicken and rice the platter looked over cooked (fried to with linen an inch of its life). Staff where friendly but inattentive there was also aa whole meal we didn't get. I believe this to be a Sri Lanka reastraunt trying to implement other cusines ie Chinese and Italian very poor effort. 1st and last visit would highly recommend giving this a big wide berth.

in the last weekA true Sri Lankan gem in Boronia! Every dish we tried was absolutely delicious. The fried rice instantly reminded us of the classic fried rice from Chinese Dragon, and the Hot Butter Cuttlefish was easily one of the best we've had in Melbourne. The rice and curry tasted just like a home-cooked meal—fresh, authentic, and full of flavour. The service is warm, friendly, and attentive. If you're looking for authentic Sri Lankan food in Melbourne, this place is an absolute must-visit.

in the last weekWe had an exceptional dinner experience at The Grand Monarque. The indoor seating was incredibly comfortable, and the staff were super friendly, making the evening perfect. I highly recommend trying the Kottu, it was absolutely delicious. It was also my first time trying Lumini, a unique coconut pickle, which was a delightful surprise. We will be back!
