Best Sri Lankan restaurant in Tasmania, for sure❤️ Whenever we crave Sri Lankan food, this is the place we always go to. The owner is super friendly and always listens to how you want your dish. Our go to orders are the fried rice, chicken kothu, and cheese kothu It’s the only place I’ve found where you can even go close to closing time,they never say no to any dish and are always so welcoming. If you want to taste authentic Sri Lankan food, this is the best place to go!

Five stars. I had the lamprice at Hazel Breez and it was honestly the best one I have had in Tasmania so far. The flavour was amazing and everything tasted fresh and well balanced. The presentation was beautiful and you can really see the care that went into preparing the dish. It reminded me of the lamprice back home in Sri Lanka. The crew were very friendly and welcoming which made the experience even better. It was also great to see that the restaurant has Sri Lankan groceries available as well. I will definitely come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone who loves good Sri Lankan food.

Absolutely loved the authentic Sri Lankan flavours! From the moment we walked in, the aroma of spices reminded me of home. The food was bursting with traditional flavours, the rice and curry were perfectly balanced, and the koththu was crisp and light. Lampraise was just WOW 🤩 The special set menu tasted freshly made, and I absolutely loved the battered mushroom 🤤♥️ The staff were warm and welcoming, happy to explain the dishes and make recommendations. The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality. Highly recommend this place to anyone craving genuine Sri Lankan cuisine, a true taste of Sri Lanka right here! 🇱🇰✨♥️ Can’t wait to taste it again (TBH, I’m trying to save money, but the taste of Hazel Foods won’t let me 🫢♥️ I’m becoming a daily customer 🤭).
