Ceylon Tea House

Second update: The restaurant claimed that only 3 people had the buffet while the others ordered à la carte. However, we booked a table for 6 people. If dine-in was allowed only for buffet customers, this should have been clearly informed at the time of booking or upon arrival. When I explained our requirements, the staff should have clarified the process so we could have opted for the buffet for everyone. We were accompanied by elderly and vegetarian guests, so we ordered separate dishes for them. Customers cannot be expected to predict such policies unless they are clearly explained. As mentioned earlier, the food quality was good, but it took a very long time to be served. We are not gaining any benefit by raising this concern; this feedback is only to highlight the issue. Initial review I visited Ceylon Tea House with family and friends mainly for the hoppers buffet, but unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. The refilling of hoppers and several other dishes took a very long time. We also ordered additional food, and the waiting time for refills was more than 20 minutes. However, I must say that the hoppers themselves were good.
