a month agoI recently tried the banana leaf rice here, and it was honestly the best and best value banana leaf meal I’ve had in all of Melbourne. It was only 19$ and generously portioned, easily enough for two people and we thoroughly enjoyed every bite... The taste was amazing, with seven different curries and vegetables including chicken, fried dry fish, brinjal with dry sprats, coconut sambol, baby jack fruit (polos) and ambaralla. Everything was flavorful, fresh, and perfectly balanced.. I will definitely be coming back often. Highly recommended!

a month agoI’m extremely disappointed with my experience. I ordered rice and curry for dinner and received food that had a very bad smell and clearly seemed expired. It was completely inedible and unacceptable to serve something like this to customers. Food quality and hygiene are basic expectations, especially when people are ordering meals to eat the same day. This experience has really affected my trust in this place, and I had to throw the entire meal away. I hope the management takes this seriously and improves their food handling and quality checks, because this kind of issue can seriously affect customers’ health.
