a week agoOne of the better Sri Lankan restaurants around. David and Cathy are ok. Updated - They have significantly increased prices, beyond most other places and the quality has dropped. Service is not as good anymore..

3 weeks agoThis was the first time my wife and I dined at Spicy Wicket. We dined with another couple and we had all enjoyed the former restaurant (Upalis). The range of dishes is somewhat less but the quality of the dishes is a real step up! We were made very welcome and had great service. The restaurant was very busy but we were still able to hear each other. Altogether a great night.

3 weeks agoAlways liked this place for its clean and cozy vibe with decent food. My last visit with family (wife and kids) was a bit worrying — we were served a $55–60 wine bottle without a cork or cap. When we asked for it, an aged Sri Lankan man (possibly the owner) offered to bring a new one. We politely declined since it was our first time facing something like that Still not sure if the first bottle was real or leftovers. Usually, this place is managed by a lady who does a great job, so we decided to let it go this time.

a month ago8 of us went for dinner on Friday. Ordered different dishes, all of which were delicious and thoroughly enjoyed by all of us. On advice from Cathy, couples shared the meal and there was enough left over to take home as well; the portions were so large.Highly recommend Spicy Wicket.
