Cinnamon Leaf

I visited Cinnamon Leaf a couple of times and really enjoyed the food. The chicken kottu and parata are very delicious, and I have no complaints about the food quality. On my first visit, I ordered chicken kottu and parata and asked for gravy. I was given 2 gravy packs and charged $10, even though it was only gravy without meat. In most Sri Lankan restaurants, gravy is usually not charged, so this was a bit surprising. On another visit, I again asked for chicken gravy without meat and was told it is chargeable, so I decided not to take it. Then the staff member girl mentioned that "Nothing here is free." Overall, the food is great, but I think the communication about charges could be improved.

Disgusting attitude of lady server. I had the worst experience in here. I went there with my girlfriend. We drove 30 min just to go there. Lady serves us like beggers begging for free food. When we arrive lady server was sitting on the floor looking at her phone. Then she stood up and kept one hand on her hip and kept staring at us. She looked at us as we came to "beg" food. She kept staring us in a disgusting & scary way. We felt so uncomfortable. My girlfriend still smiled and ordered a roti because we were disgusted from her behaviour. We didn't want to order more. She behave like giving free food to a " begger". Worst experience ever. We are Australian citizens with south Indian background, may be it has something to do with her rudeness, i don't know. So if u ever want to feel a rude staring from a server , if u want to feel like you begging for free food , you can go to this restaurant. Rudest lady server ever. Disgusting.
